Reserving child seats for the taxi
Are you going on holiday soon and traveling with children? Then it's a reassuring thought that your children can travel safely and comfortably in a suitable child seats during the ride to the airport. A holiday with children always brings a bit of extra excitement and preparation. After being busy packing suitcases, gathering documents, and getting everything ready at home, it's nice to know that at least the journey to the airport will begin without stress. Once you step into the taxi, you want nothing more than to start your trip in a relaxed way. The same goes for children: a familiar child seat helps them feel comfortable, just as they do in your own car.
Unfortunately, many taxi companies do not offer child seats, which means parents sometimes have to improvise or bring their own. At Airport-Taxiservices, we take a different approach. We believe it is important for families to be transported safely and comfortably. That’s why we offer a wide range of child seats for different age groups. Whether you’re traveling with a baby, toddler, preschooler, or older child, we always have a suitable seat available. Even if you are traveling with several children, this is not a problem. We have enough seats of each type so you will never be left without one.
We are happy to inform you about the available options, the different types of seats, and any associated costs. In total, we offer three different variants. For babies and newborns, we provide the Maxi-Cosi, the ideal seat for the very youngest. For toddlers and young children, we offer the child seat, which follows the Maxi-Cosi and provides optimal support. If you are traveling with older children who are taller than 1.35 meters, we also have special booster seats so they can travel safely and in accordance with current regulations.

Type 2: is suitable from 13 months up to a height of 1.35 meters

Child seat costs
The cost of renting child seats is €5 each and per trip. When booking your taxi, you can indicate which child seats you need. For example, if you book a single trip and you need 2 seats, 1 maxi-cosy and 1 child seat, then an additional €10 will be added. For a return trip, you will then pay €10 for the outward journey and €10 for the return journey, a total of €20 for renting the child seats. You will see the options for renting child seats on the 3rd page of your reservation.
Waiting time or delay
The child seats are not standard in the taxi. Unfortunately, we cannot leave the child seats in the taxi, because then we no longer have room for the luggage of other customers. If you have reserved a child seat, it is possible that the waiting time at the airport or from your home address may be slightly longer than standard, this is due to the special collection of your seat.
If your flight is delayed, it is possible that the driver cannot collect your child seats specially and does not have them with him. In this case, you will receive your money back that you paid for your child seat. Because having a child seat in the taxi is not mandatory, this is not a reason to refuse the taxi. The taxis at the airport do not have child seats in the taxi anyway.
Child seats not required in taxis
Taxis are not legally required to have child seats in the taxi. The children are allowed to sit in the taxi and be transported without seats.
